Great list! I too loved Interior Chinatown, one of the most memorable novels I've read in recent years. I'll have to check out the other books you've mentioned, especially the one about the gold rush.

I got quite a few of other readings that I started but have not finished yet - I have this bad habit of starting many books at the same time! lol
