I really enjoyed the takeaways from the Haidt book. I don't feel I need to read it now :)

I also enjoy Respighi's music a lot, so thank you for sharing that!

Jonathan Haidt is great. I'm more familiar with his work with children/social media, so it's great to see what else he's been doing. I need to check out Roger Federer’s commencement speech ~ because he's dreamy and I don't need an excuse. 😁 Nice roundup, Yi!

I came to know about Haidt and his work through the press coverage of his latest book on childhood mental illness and social media. I can't say I agree with everything he says—who would we agree with in absolute and totality, anyway?—his theories did provide me with many answers in understanding human behavior.

Roger Federer, McDreamy? I never thought about that until you said it. :-) I have always adored him - his style, and his coolness. Now I can add "dreamy" to that list! lol

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures with the Pines of Rome and for the recap of The Righteous Mind. I think that I learned more about how and why people justify their political beliefs from that book than from any other — it’s so interesting to me — and eye opening to try and understand how people think about various moral questions. It’s a great read for everyone, especially if you can’t understand why rational people can support a political candidate you see as extreme and immoral. Thanks for the insight and the uplifting music.

Thanks, Paul! The fact that we have insights to share and lift each other up, is enough reason to be hopeful! Stay cool this summer and enjoy reading! :)
