Setting priority straight is very hard for me, I think I have to spend my whole life working on it, yet no confidence achieving it, but I do tell my kids to set priority straight everyday in hope of they can do better than me;)
That’s hard to do too, we should have school for parenting. If I teach them what’s important to them and not to others, I’m afraid they grow up being selfish and egoistic, I do hope they have compassion to others but also love themselves just a tiny bit more if possible.
Having compassion is always important. I think I should rephrase my previous comment - teach them to know what things in life are more important to them, not *according* to others :)
